What is the hiring process?

Our hiring process typically includes: (1) Submit resume and certifications, (2) Phone screening, (3) Skills assessment/weld test, (4) In-person interview, (5) Drug screening and background check, (6) Job offer. The entire process usually takes 1-2 weeks.

Do I need certifications to apply?

For welder positions, AWS certifications are strongly preferred. For apprentice positions, we provide training. Field supervisors need OSHA 30. Fabricators should have relevant experience even if not formally certified. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.

What does the weld test involve?

Depending on the position, you may be asked to perform a 6G pipe weld test or plate weld test. We provide the materials and equipment. Tests are visual inspected and may include destructive testing. CWI inspection available for critical positions.

Is travel required?

Some positions involve regional travel to job sites throughout PA, NJ, DE, and MD. Field installation crews may be on-site for days or weeks. Shop fabricator positions are based at our Philadelphia facility. Travel requirements are discussed during the interview.

What safety equipment do I need to provide?

You'll need basic PPE: safety glasses, work boots (steel toe), hard hat, and gloves. We provide welding helmets, respirators, arc flash gear, and specialized equipment. Annual boot allowance provided after 90 days.

Do you hire apprentices with no experience?

Yes! Our apprentice program is designed for motivated individuals with mechanical aptitude. You'll work alongside experienced welders, receive on-the-job training, and have opportunities to earn certifications. Starting pay is competitive with increases as you develop skills.
