Municipal Water Plant Upgrade

Water Treatment Stainless Steel Municipal

Complete fabrication and installation of 304L stainless steel piping for a new filtration skid.

Challenge

The primary challenge was the limited window for installation. The municipal water supply could only be interrupted for a maximum of 48 hours before reserve tanks were depleted.

Solution

We prefabricated 85% of the piping spools in our shop, verifying fit-up with laser scanning technology. On-site work was executed by two 12-hour shift crews to ensure continuous progress.

Rapid deployment to repair structural fractures on a highway overpass. AWS D1.5 certified welding.

Challenge

Work had to be performed over active traffic lanes (requiring rolling roadblocks) and at heights exceeding 60 feet. The structural integrity of the bridge depended on immediate reinforcement.

Solution

Our emergency response team mobilized within 2 hours. We installed temporary shoring and performed FCAW welding of cover plates in accordance with AWS D1.5 Bridge Welding Code, working through the night to minimize traffic disruption.

Pharmaceutical ASME BPE Clean Room

Installation of high-purity orbital welded WFI (Water for Injection) loops.

Challenge

The installation took place in an active ISO 7 cleanroom environment. Any contamination or particulate generation was strictly prohibited.

Solution

We utilized our dedicated cleanroom fabrication kit and orbital welding heads. All welds were logged, borescope inspected for full penetration and coloration, and documented in a comprehensive turnover package.

Energy Chrome-Moly NDE Certified

Replacement of high-pressure chrome-moly steam piping. X-ray quality welds (RT).

Challenge

The material was P91 Chrome-Moly steel, which requires precise pre-heat and post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) to prevent cracking and ensure metallurgical integrity.

Solution

We deployed certified pipe welders experienced with alloy metals. We managed the entire heat treatment cycle and coordinated with third-party NDE inspectors to achieve a 100% pass rate on radiographic testing.

Challenge

The facility remained in production during the upgrade. We had to construct strict containment barriers to prevent metal shavings or dust from entering the food production area.

Solution

We fabricated modular platform sections off-site. Installation was performed during sanitation shifts using TIG welding for smooth, crevice-free finishes that meet USDA washdown requirements.
